Because of its explicit nature, the Japanese market packaged the book in a simple (you should be ashamed of yourself for buying this adult material) Brown Box with a sticker attached. And bright bold red lettering "SEX by MADONNA". You open it up to reveal the one and only book! Later, they packaged the book in a bit nicer format in white box with bigger picture. (2nd Edition)

Holy Moly! This is one of my favoirte Madonna collectible pieces of all time. Sex/Erotica is my most loved Madonna era....Ohhhhhh and there was so much hoopla around this book and CD! Prior to the book having an international release....Madonna gave a party at New York City's Industria Superstudio, for which she attended dressed as Little Bo Peep with a stuffed toy lamb. There is a special note in Madonnas handwriting asking all guests to be there and not to drive up....(for more details on the letter email me), signed by DITA! The invite (which has barely been touched is clasped with black ribbon which opens up to a pink background picture of Madonna all tied up in S&M gear. All of it is housed in black Maverick envelope. It is all in MINT MINT condition! An amazing find, from an incredible time, by an iconic woman!
