You are looking at a MEGA RARE Double Disc Set of Madonna's Golden Globe winning perfomance in EVITA. This is a In house Reference CD for the soundtrack. There are MANY unrleased tracks and quite a few of them are very different fromt the standard release. A MEGA rare MADONNA item, not only for the music by the movie as well! Both discs are in EXCELLENT condition! Very Very few exist...This is an incredible Madonna collectible!!!

WHAT ARE THE DIFFERENCES BETWEEN THESE REFERENCE CDs AND THE "STORE-BOUGHT" CDs??

1. On some of the songs on the reference CDs, there is no music at all during certain passages, whereas the store-bought version has music playing. For example, where Madonna sings "your act hasn't changed much" and the man sings "neither has yours" - on the reference CDs, there is NO music playing in the background.

2. On "Buenos Aires," there is NO "train whistle" or "hand claps" at the beginning of the song, it just starts out with the drums and music.

3. Madonna sings part of "Goodnight And Thank You" with Jonathan Pryce, NOT Antonio Banderas. Basically like in the movie when they're both sitting in the back of the car, when you hear the song, but their lips aren't moving, because they are probably just "thinking" the song to themselves or something.

4. In "Peron's Latest Flame," Antonio Banderas pronounces Eva's name as "Duart" and not "Duart-ay" two times in a row, which has obviously been corrected in the store-bought version.

5. On the reference CDs, Directly after "Don't Cry For Me Argentina," there are two different takes of Madonna singing "Just listen to that, the voice of Argentina" - and the music on each take is either missing or different.

6. On the reference CDs, The song "Please, Mother Eva" is sung by adults, NOT by children.

7. In the song "Goodnight And Thank You" on the reference CDs, Madonna's voice is completely missing from the section where the women sing "There is no soap, no soap like Zass." It's pretty weird.

8. Many of the songs are "split up" differently. For example, Disc one of the reference CDs has 28 tracks, where as the store-bought disc one has only 14 tracks. On the reference CDs, the songs seem to have their own independent intros and exists, where as on the store-bought CDs, the songs are more mixed together and continuous.

9. On the reference CDs, on the track called "Now Eva Peron," right after Antonion Banderas sings "As this tango singer found out," you do NOT hear him say "Augustine Magaldi" - instead, you just hear music playing. Then, he sings "who has the distinction of being the first...."

10. At the end of "On This Night of 1000 Stars," you do NOT hear the audience cheering.

11. On the reference CDs, about two minutes into "I'd Be Surprisingly Good For You," some instruments (mainly the cool xylophones) are missing. Also, the vocals seem to be louder overall, and the music doesn't sound "finished." This happens on a few of the songs. If you do a direct side-by-side, or one-after-the-other comparison between the two, you can more easily hear the differences.

That is almost an entire album of unreleased material.  Also includes "Pure shores" by All Saints plus other unreleased Orbit material - 43 songs in total! You are lookinb at an extremely rare version of the amazing Immaculate Collection from Israel. The graphics on this CD and cover are different from any other country.

It has Hebrew on the cover and on the CD the POLKA DOT Graphics are a much darker blue, and on the bottom and back insert  it says made in Israel. Just compare it to the copy you already own from the US, and you’ll see the difference.Don’t let this rare Madonna item pass you buy…unless of course you are planning a trip to Israel....and even then you wont find it! Because this is the first Edition by Hed Arzi records and is now long gone and has been replaced to the original that is found every where else! In excellent condition!
